All edits made in this panel are automatically synchronized with the website's centralized DataStore. The code has been built with an isolated abstraction layer (js/firebase-config.example.js) ready for connecting Firebase Authentication (role-based access), Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage whenever you are ready to deploy to production.

This system was engineered specifically so that when a new President, Secretary, or committee takes office every academic year, updating the organization's information, publishing activities, showcasing students' work, and passing down website management takes minutes without needing to edit code.

Handover & Data Management (Local Backup Feature)

Notice: This backup tool is a local prototype handover feature to download and transfer your current organisation records. It serves as an immediate offline handover mechanism and does not replace cloud database replication (e.g. Firebase Firestore).

1. Export Website Backup (.json)

Download all About Us content, activities, students' work showcase, committee directories, contact info, and social links in a single file.

2. Restore / Import Backup (.json)

Select a previously saved .json backup to restore records. A confirmation prompt will appear before any existing data is overwritten.

3. Reset to Default Seed Data

Clears all custom local edits and restores the initial pristine seed data.
